Oncology & Hematology Specialists, PA maintains a full-service billing department and participates with most insurance plans. Our specialists are more than happy to assist you with insurance counseling. We make every effort to keep abreast of the ever changing medical insurance environment. If you have a question regarding your insurance, we will be glad to research it for you if we cannot answer it immediately.

Many insurance policies require that you receive a referral from your primary care physician before you can be examined by a specialist. It is your responsibility to obtain a referral from your primary care physician, if a referral is required by your insurance plan. If you are unable to obtain a referral, you will need to make alternative payment arrangements or reschedule your appointment.

Payment of any applicable co-payments is expected at the time of service. If we do not participate with your insurance plan, or if your insurance does not cover our services, or if you are a self pay patient, payment in full is expected at the time of service, unless other payment arrangements have been made in advance.

We understand the emotional and financial stress that you and your loved ones may be experiencing and, if requested, we will make every effort to assist you by establishing a mutually acceptable payment schedule. As dictated by the terms of our contracts with insurers, we cannot, however, waive payments or co-payments.
